Vintage Landers, Frary & Clark # 1 Universal Cake-Maker Pat. date 1896

Up for sale is this Vintage patient date 1896 Universal # 1 Cake-Maker by Landers, Frary & Clark. This cake maker (mixer) looks like it could be a 1 bowl operation if you wanted because the mixer comes off of the bowl and I believe you could put it right in the oven. Not the prettiest cake would come out but a cake none the less. Just to imagine the people who used this in the past and thinking about the history of mixers to where we are in today's world it is really amazing. The cake-maker (mixer measures 10 1/2" side of bowl to end of handle (Bowl is 8 1/2" in diameter. The total height is 10 3/4" (Bowl is 4 3/4" tall. The gears work great with no issues with turn the handle to move the paddles. There is 1 dent in the bottom of the bowl.
