Vintage Presto Glass canning lid insert

Vintage Presto Glass canning lid insert. Lids says: "PAT RE 17562; TO OPEN INSERT KNIFE AT NOTCH"
Each cap measures 2 1/2" in diameter. There is a 1/2" scratch on top of lid near the Presto name.
